Elizabeth

Receptionist

Elizabeth is a devoted staff member with a passion for animals and a veterinary practice background. Starting her job as a receptionist at a local veterinary facility, Elizabeth immediately discovered her affinity for being the initial point of contact for clients and their dogs. Her devotion to assisting and caring for animals extends to her pets: Beyla, a goofy old lady; Ellie, a calm yet energetic Doodle from a hoarder rescue; Taylor, a loving cat who thinks she’s a dog; and Walter, an old soul in a puppy’s body. In her own time, Elizabeth likes training her dogs, spending quality time with friends and family, and unwinding at home watching Animal Planet or true crime series. She is a vital addition to the team because of her genuine concern for animals, whether they are her own, those of friends, or those of strangers she meets at the clinic.

Grace

Receptionist

Grace is a committed employee with a love for animals and a keen interest in medicine. Her relationship with her pets, Daisy and Rogue, demonstrates how much she cares for animals. Grace is always motivated by her contact with animals and dedication to their welfare to study and advance in her chosen field. She appreciates the natural environment even more by painting and spending time outside when she isn’t working. Grace is a fantastic addition to the team because of her energy and ambition.

Joy

Receptionist

Joy is a seasoned staff member with over 15 years of experience in veterinary practice as a receptionist. Her skill in customer service makes her a great contributor to the team, ensuring that clients and their dogs receive the finest care possible. Joy lives with two devoted dogs: Mojo, a terrier mix with a talent for locating the warmest places in the home, and Gideon, a narcissistic border collie who enjoys looking at himself in mirrors. Joy is committed to canine sports and trains and competes with her dogs in flyball, agility, and dock diving in her own time. She also makes dog paracord collars and leashes, showing her passion for all things canine.

Jessica

Receptionist

Jessica is an eco-conscious adventurer and animal lover. When she isn’t exploring new hiking trails, she is at Carleton University competing on the Quidditch team, crocheting, or doing yoga. Monty, Jessica’s dog, keeps her company while she rearranges her rugs and works on her laptop (which Monty enjoys sitting on). Despite her lack of professional experience, Jessica’s spent time living in an eco-community on Big Island, which also served as a bird sanctuary, has given her a unique perspective on sustainability and conservation.
