Ashley
Receptionist
Ashley, a committed client-care representative at Eagleson Veterinary Clinic, brings over a decade of experience in customer service, having graduated in 2007 from Algonquin for Medical and Dental Administration. Despite initially pursuing a different path, her love for animals led her to transition into the veterinary field nearly two years ago, where she discovered her true passion. Known for her strong work ethic and outgoing personality, Ashley excels in connecting with both clients and their furry companions. She takes pride in ensuring that every pet and their owner feels welcome and cared for from the moment they step through our doors. Outside of work, Ashley is a devoted mom to four beautiful girls and four stepchildren, cherishing quality time with her family.
Whether exploring nature on hikes or creating memories with her children, Ashley finds joy in every moment. Additionally, she shares her home with three beloved rescue pets: Odin, Patch, and Luna. With her compassionate nature and unwavering dedication to providing exceptional service, Ashley is an invaluable member of our team, embodying our commitment to compassionate care for both pets and their families.
Camryn
Receptionist
Camryn is a devoted Client Care Representative with a passion for animals and a wealth of experience in the veterinary industry. Graduating from the International Baccalaureate program and currently pursuing a science degree in psychology at Carleton University, Camryn brings a unique blend of academic knowledge and practical expertise to our team. With over four years of experience in veterinary administration, Camryn’s lifelong immersion in the world of animals, both large and small, has fueled her dedication to providing exceptional care for pets and their owners.
Drawing from a rich family history in both veterinary medicine and equine sport, Camryn’s expertise in animal care is unparalleled. Beyond the clinic, Camryn finds joy in lifting, reading, and cooking. She enjoys spending time with her family pets, which include two dogs, two cats, and three horses. Cameron’s commitment to the well-being of animals extends far beyond the workplace, reflecting their genuine love and appreciation for all creatures great and small.
Hailey
Receptionist
Meet Hailey, one of the pillars of our client care team. With a passion for animals cultivated from a young age in a household with five cats, Hailey brings dedication, compassion, and a keen eye for detail to our clinic. Despite being one of our newer team members, Hailey’s quick learning and eagerness to expand her skill set have made her an indispensable member of our team. Whether it’s ensuring administrative tasks are flawlessly executed or providing compassionate support to clients, Hailey approaches her responsibilities with unwavering dedication and professionalism.
Beyond her role at the clinic, Hailey is an avid adventurer who thrives on exploring the great outdoors. From hiking to zip-lining through, she finds joy in nature’s wonders. Her adventurous spirit extends to her furry companion, Mr. Weenie, who accompanies her on paddle boarding excursions. Aside from Mr. Weenie, Hailey also shares her home with her three cherished family cats, Meekeesha, Kevin, and Binou. Hailey’s commitment to providing exceptional care and creating positive experiences for both clients and their pets makes her an invaluable part of our veterinary family.
Jenna M.
Receptionist
Meet Jenna, our dedicated receptionist at Eagleson Veterinary Clinic. Although she doesn’t have any pets of her own, her fondness for animals is undeniable. In her downtime, Jenna dives into the world of literature, channels her strength through weightlifting, and gracefully showcases her skills in figure skating. Pursuing an HBSc in Biology at the University of Ottawa, Jenna’s passion isn’t just limited to her love for animals. She’s also deeply intrigued by the intricate science behind veterinary medicine. Her enthusiasm and academic background make her an invaluable member of our team.
Jodie
Receptionist
Jodie is an integral part of the Eagleson team, serving as our dedicated receptionist. With a journey that began in 2006 at the Ottawa Humane Society, she further refined her expertise in several small vet clinics, including the Stittsville Small Animal Clinic. Despite taking a brief break to focus on raising her three energetic boys, Jodie’s commitment to the veterinary world never wavered. Although she pursued architectural engineering at Algonquin College, it’s evident her heart belongs to animals. This is beautifully illustrated by her two cats: Trooper, who often embarks on shoulder rides, and Lizzy, our beloved chatterbox storyteller. Even with the hustle and bustle of managing three boys and being a self-proclaimed “plantaholic,” Jodie seamlessly juggles her responsibilities, always greeting clients warmly.
Joy
Receptionist
Joy is a seasoned staff member with over 15 years of experience in veterinary practice as a receptionist. Her skill in customer service makes her a great contributor to the team, ensuring that clients and their dogs receive the finest care possible. Joy lives with two devoted dogs: Mojo, a terrier mix with a talent for locating the warmest places in the home, and Gideon, a narcissistic border collie who enjoys looking at himself in mirrors. Joy is committed to canine sports and trains and competes with her dogs in flyball, agility, and dock diving in her own time. She also makes dog paracord collars and leashes, showing her passion for all things canine.
Karen
Receptionist
Karen is a seasoned veterinary assistant with over 20 years of experience in the animal field. She attended St. Lawrence College in Kingston, where she graduated from the veterinary assistant program. Karen is passionate about outdoor activities and enjoys camping, kayaking, and hiking with her family and friends. She is also a proud pet owner of a rescue dog named Willow, who has a unique love for veggies and fruits and loves to swim and chase frogs.
Lily
Receptionist
Lily is more than a client-care representative; she’s a passionate advocate for animals and their devoted families. With two lively dogs Max and Sterling, known for their signature wiggle butts and wild zoomies, Lily experiences firsthand the special bond between pets and their people. When she’s not out hiking with her furry companions or unwinding by a warm fire, Lily indulges in her love for reading, camping, and embracing outdoor adventures. With a background in medical care as a personal support worker, she has honed her skills in compassion and positivity, providing invaluable support to both animals and their owners. Lily’s dedication to continuous learning is evident in her pursuit of additional certifications, including specialized training in compassion fatigue, autism awareness, and pet grief support. Lily embodies the essence of compassion and empathy in her role. She strives to bring comfort and peace of mind to both pets and their owners, fostering a warm and welcoming environment where every visitor feels valued and cared for.
Meagan
Receptionist
Meagan is a motivated and adaptable employee with ten years of experience in the dog care sector. She developed her abilities at the Ottawa Canine School and now runs the popular dog walking and training company Unleash Your Paws. Meagan’s strong relationship with Lily, her travel companion who has ears that “fly like a kite,” exemplifies her appreciation of animals. Meagan likes various outdoor activities outside her job, including rock climbing, hiking, canoeing, baseball, mountain biking, road biking, and gardening. She is a beautiful addition to the team because of her various experiences and interests.
Michelle
Receptionist
Michelle is an animal lover who enjoys video games, baseball, and car shows. She currently lives with her pets which include: Artemis, the howling dog; Oscar, the dog-like cat; and several other feline companions. Michelle began her vet career as a receptionist and fell in love with the work, prompting her to pursue a degree in the veterinary technician program. Michelle’s natural ability to connect with people and animals will undoubtedly improve the lives of pets and their owners.
Paige
Receptionist
Meet Paige, one of our enthusiastic Veterinary Client Care Representatives. With a diverse background that includes a BSc in Statistics and a minor in Criminology from the University of Ottawa, Paige brings a unique skill set to our team. Though new to the field of veterinary medicine, her love for animals and people shines through. Paige grew up in a bustling household with a menagerie that currently includes three cats—Simba, Loki, and Luna—and two dogs, Max and Scout, each with their own unique personality. When she’s not at the clinic, you can find her mastering Jiu-Jitsu or gracefully ice skating. Her friendly demeanour and genuine care for animals make her a wonderful addition to our clinic.
Rebecca
Receptionist
Rebecca has been an avid animal lover for as long as she can remember. Growing up, she volunteered for the Ottawa Wildlife Centre with her parents and owned every type of pet under the sun! She currently owns a dog named Boogie and a Sphynx named Poe. Rebecca entered veterinary medicine because she is passionate about animal welfare and wants to help care for animals in need. Her favourite part of her job is seeing patients reunited with their owners after their vet visit and seeing how happy they both are. In her spare time, Rebecca enjoys running marathons with her husband, spending time with her pets, painting, and reading.
Samantha G.

JB and Nola are two adorable kitties that Samantha, a committed Veterinary Client Care Representative, proudly owns. She is a vital team member because of her love for animals and customer service abilities. Samantha likes spending her leisure time watching movies and travelling to new places. She gets great satisfaction from ensuring that pets and their owners receive the most outstanding care and assistance.
Shelby
Receptionist
Shelby received her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Carleton University. She joined the Eagleson team in May of 2020, bringing prior experience from a different clinic where she served as both a Kennel Attendant and Receptionist. Her passion for animal welfare extends beyond her job as she has dedicated time volunteering at local wildlife centers, where she provides care for orphaned raccoons, squirrels, and chipmunks. With a heart for all creatures, Shelby has made room in her home for a diverse group of pets, including three snakes, a bearded dragon, and two dogs.
Taryn
Receptionist
Taryn is an experienced veterinary professional who has dedicated her life to the care and well-being of animals. She has fostered medical cases for two years, provided massage services for five years, and worked in the veterinary field for three years. Taryn is also an avid pet lover with three dogs of her own, Zing, Scout, and OG, who she enjoys spending time with and watching as they play and have daily wrestling matches. Taryn enjoys playing Flyball, creating unique and stylish dog collars, and exploring new dog-friendly hiking trails.
Kelly
Receptionist
Kelly, a true animal lover, grew up surrounded by furry companions on her aunt’s horse farm. Her passion for animals led her to work at an animal shelter, where she adopted her first dog. Several years ago, Kelly joined our clinic as a client care representative and quickly became an indispensable part of our team. Driven by her passion for expanding her knowledge, she learnt about working as a veterinary assistant and has since taken on an additional role of aiding in health and safety protocols at the clinic. Outside of work, Kelly treasures spending quality time with her two boys and shares her life with their dog, Molly, an old gal, and their cat, Yumyun Hammerpaw, a young lad.
