Dr. Abdou
Veterinarian
Abdou is a knowledgeable veterinary with deep affection and enthusiasm for all animals. Although he doesn’t presently own any pets, his childhood cat inspired his passion for the industry. Abdou likes painting, going on exciting treks and playing football alone. He is a crucial component of our team since his dedication to animal care shows in his job.
Dr. Alramady
Overnight Veterinarian
Meet Dr. Ahmed Alramady, affectionately known as Dr. Grey, a seasoned veterinary professional with an alma mater at Cairo University, Egypt, class of 2006. With comprehensive experience in large animal medicine, particularly focusing on dairy cattle, Dr. Grey has managed dairy farms across various countries and possesses extensive expertise in both reproduction and surgery. He thrives on the challenges of internal medicine, likening complex cases to intriguing puzzles. Outside of his demanding profession, Dr. Grey is a family man who enjoys hitting the gym, engaging in outdoor activities, and unwinding with a good read, particularly in the fields of physiology and immunity. Although he doesn’t have a pet yet, he’s planning to add a four-legged member to his family soon.
Dr. Ammar

Dr. Mohamed Ammar is a highly skilled veterinarian with a passion for small animal surgery and emergency medicine. He began his career in Northern Ontario before moving to the Niagara and Hamilton areas. On his journey, he gained experience working in many emergency clinics. Focusing on client education, Dr. Ammar has earned his reputation of being a dedicated and compassionate vet. In his free time, Dr. Ammar spends his time with his family, playing tennis, and reading. He is passionate about providing the best care for pets and commits his time to building long-lasting relationships with his clients.

Dr. Elsayed
Veterinarian
Dr. Omar Elsayed earned his veterinary degree from Alexandria University in Egypt in 2018. Following graduation, he worked as a new-grad veterinarian there for six months, gaining hands-on experience and benefiting from mentorship by senior veterinarians. He then relocated to New York to prepare for his board exam while concurrently working in a clinic to enhance his technical skills. In 2022, Omar successfully passed his board exams and initiated his plan to move to Canada to pursue a career as a veterinarian. For the past year, he has been an integral part of the Eagleson Veterinary Clinic team, honing his skills and expanding his expertise. Outside of work, Omar enjoys immersing himself in nature through activities like hiking and fishing or staying active with workouts at the gym.
Dr. Franco
Veterinarian
Dr. Franco is a vet and lifelong animal lover who adores her four cats, Penny, Agatha, Nala, and Nicholas. She enjoys reading fantasy and fiction books, watching movies and TV shows, and spending time with friends when she is not caring for her pets. She graduated from veterinary school in Brazil in 2010 and worked in equine reproduction before relocating to Canada in 2020. Dr. Franco discovered her passion for surgery and urgent care at Eagleson after working as a veterinary technician and completing her North American diploma validation. She is committed to providing exceptional care for her animal patients and is well-known for her compassion, kindness, and dedication to their families.
Dr. Galal
Veterinarian
A highly skilled veterinarian with a passion for small animal surgery. Dr Galal has dedicated many hours to practicing and advancing in orthopedic surgery. Has taken many training courses in orthopedics as well as studied for a GPcertSAS certificate for small animal surgery at Improve International Cyprus. Dr. Galal has 3 cats, Snow, Simba and Soka. When Dr. Galal is not in long extensive surgeries, you can find him reading, playing football (soccer), hiking or off-traveling.
Dr. Gamal
Overnight Veterinarian
Dr. Gamal, a dedicated veterinarian, embarked on a journey that spans continents and diverse experiences. Born and raised in the vibrant landscapes of the United Arab Emirates, Dr. Gamal discovered a passion for veterinary science early on. This passion led him to pursue his veterinary education at Alexandria University, Egypt, where he honed his skills and gained a solid foundation in the field. Eager to expand his horizons, Dr. Gamal ventured to the Philippines and achieved a significant milestone by earning a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from DLSAU in 2019.
Seeking further expertise, they successfully completed the Educational Commission for Foreign Veterinary Graduates (ECFVG) program. With a thirst for hands-on experience, he embarked on a professional journey that took him to the lively city of Las Vegas. There, he practiced veterinary medicine for a year, contributing his skills to the well-being of animals and gaining valuable insights into the field. Today, Dr. Gamal holds the distinction of being a licensed veterinarian in multiple jurisdictions, including Nevada, Florida, and Ontario, Canada. This extensive licensure showcases their commitment to upholding the highest standards of veterinary care across diverse regulatory landscapes. Driven by a genuine love for animals and a dedication to the veterinary profession, he continues to make a positive impact wherever his journey takes him. Whether in the bustling cityscape of Las Vegas or the serene landscapes of Canada, he brings a wealth of knowledge, experience, and compassion to every aspect of his veterinary practice.
Dr. Lo
Veterinarian
Dr. Melissa Lo, an esteemed graduate of the Ontario Veterinary College in 2015, brings a wealth of expertise with 8 years of experience in both emergency and general practice. At home, she’s the proud pet parent to Hank, a senior lab/Doberman mix, Charlotte, a senior cat, and two red-eared slider turtles. When not providing top-notch veterinary care, Dr. Lo loves globe-trotting with her husband, having explored diverse and captivating destinations like Japan, Peru, and Kenya. With her deep experience and adventurous spirit, she’s an invaluable part of our veterinary team.
Dr. Loi
Veterinarian
The team is fortunate to have Dr. Kinman Loi on board as a vital team member and veterinarian with expertise in companion animals. After earning his degree in veterinary medicine from the University of the West Indies in 2015, Dr. Loi has subsequently worked in various places, including the Caribbean, Macau, and Canada. Dr. Loi is not only a successful professional, but he also likes swimming, freediving, and other outdoor activities. A love of cuisine and travel has undoubtedly added to his diverse background. His interest in video games also provides a unique window into who he is. Since he is a committed professional, Dr. Loi is eager to bring a new pet into his life.
Dr. Madany
Veterinarian/Assistant Medical Director
Dr. Mohamed Madany, better known as Dr. Med, serves as one of our esteemed full-time overnight veterinarians. Hailing from Egypt and now a proud Canadian, Mohamed’s passion for animals ignited in his youth, with a particular focus on horses. He pursued his dream of becoming a veterinarian by studying at Alexandria University. Following the completion of his degree, Mohamed furthered his education with a one-year postgraduate surgical program, graduating in 2000. Throughout his career, Mohamed has honed his skills through various surgical trainings and internships, including positions at Bristol University in the UK and Hellen Wood Veterinary Hospital in the US. These experiences, combined with numerous continuing education courses, have greatly enriched his expertise in veterinary medicine. Driven by his commitment to animal welfare, Mohamed joined forces with The Brook, an NGO where he provided care for equine and small animals across Africa, Asia, and Europe. During his tenure, Mohamed authored and published research papers on a variety of topics. Upon relocating to Canada, Mohamed transitioned his focus to small animal care. Outside of work, he cherishes spending time with his family, including their two cats, Priscilla and Harley. Together, they enjoy travelling, watching movies, and creating lasting memories.
Dr. Maher
Overnight Veterinarian
Dr. Boules Maher Ramzy Henin, a distinguished alumnus of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at Assiut University, graduated in 2010, bringing with him a wealth of knowledge and dedication to the field. When he’s not immersed in his professional duties, Dr. Maher can often be found cycling, embracing the outdoors and staying active. His bond with his pet, Solly, further showcases his deep-rooted passion for animals, making him a valued member of our team.
Dr. Nasr
Veterinarian
Dr. Mohamed Nasr, a valued team member, contributes his enthusiasm for veterinary medicine and friendly professionalism to our clinic. Dr. Nasr, who has a feline friend named Mango, understands the vital link between animals and their families. His passion for biking and spending quality time with his children shows his playful personality and dedication to healthy living. He is inspired to practise veterinary medicine by the satisfaction and challenge of supporting animal health, improving patient outcomes, and strengthening the link between pets and their owners.
Dr. Othman
Veterinarian
Dr. Hazem Ahmed Othman, a distinguished member of our veterinary team, brings a broad range of experience and a love for diverse animal species. A proud alumnus of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Alexandria, Egypt, Dr. Othman’s professional background encompasses work with horses, camels, poultry, and small animals, showcasing his adaptability and vast veterinary knowledge. When he’s not treating our beloved patients, he engages in various hobbies that keep him sharp and centred. As a chess enthusiast, he relishes the intellectual challenges of the game. Meanwhile, he indulges in the immersive worlds of video games and keeps himself fit with regular karate practice. Although Dr. Othman doesn’t currently have pets, his dedication to animal care remains unwavering, mirrored in his compassionate and comprehensive care approach at our clinic.
Dr. Pulman
Veterinarian
Dr. Pulman graduated from the Atlantic Veterinary College, in Prince Edward Island, in 2012. She worked in New Brunswick for 7 years before moving back to Ottawa, where is is originally from, in 2019. Dr. Pulman joined the Eagleson team in 2021. She has a passion for senior pets in particular and helping them live as many healthy years as possible. Outside of work she enjoys relaxing with friends, watching true crime, and recently took up curling for the first time. She hopes to add a new pet to her family soon, after the recent passing of her dog Angel who lived to the amazing age of 20.
Dr. Radwan
Veterinarian
Dr. Moaaz Radwan, a Veterinary Medicine graduate of Cairo University in 2016, has harboured a lifelong passion for small animals. While he holds a deep affection for both dogs and cats, canines have always occupied a particularly special place in his heart. Dr. Radwan’s bond with his Pitbull, Julie, who lived to the age of 9, was inseparable, and he fondly reminisces about their time together. With his compassionate spirit and unwavering dedication to animal welfare, Dr. Radwan seamlessly integrated into the Eagleson Veterinary Clinic community upon joining in 2023. Both the staff and the clients can attest to his diligence and dedication to his patients. We’re thrilled to have him as part of our team, enriching the lives of pets and their families alike with his expertise and heartfelt care. In his leisure time, Dr. Radwan indulges in various sports, with a preference for those that provide an adrenaline rush. Before relocating, he spent three years immersed in the practice of parkour.
Dr. Ramtahal
Veterinarian
Dr. Adrian R. Ramtahal, a dedicated veterinarian with a rich educational background, graduated from The School of Veterinary Medicine at the University of the West Indies, Trinidad, in 2015 and further pursued his interests by obtaining an MSc in Food Safety and Toxicology from The University of Guelph in June 2021. A proud pet parent to a cat, Maki, and two dogs, Milo and William, Dr. Ramtahal’s love for animals extends beyond his professional life. When not immersed in his veterinary practice, he enjoys an active lifestyle filled with tennis, swimming, badminton, and going to the gym. An explorer at heart, he relishes travelling and tasting new foods, constantly seeking to broaden his horizons. His commitment to animal health and safety is evident in his career and personal life.
Dr. Verbickas

Dr. Dennis Verbickas is a 2004 graduate of Ontario Veterinary College. With 14 years of experience in small animal practice, he joined Eagleson Veterinary Clinic in 2018. Dr. Verbickas has a passion for preventive, internal, and emergency medicine. On top of that, he also enjoys veterinary ophthalmology and dentistry. In his free time, he loves outdoor activities like hiking, camping, and kayaking. Delivering exceptional care and staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in the field, Dr. Verbickas is helping pets and their owners live happy and healthy lives.
Dr. Yacout
Veterinarian
Mariam graduated from The College of Veterinary Medicine – Alexandria University back in 2014 and worked as a Food Safety and Quality Assurance specialist up until 2022. She moved to Canada with her husband, Zeyad in 2018 and worked in food companies like Maple Lodge Farms and Maple Leaf Foods. After settling for a couple of years, she decided to work on getting her license as a Veterinarian in Canada and is halfway through the process. Since 2022 Mariam has been working in the veterinary field to gain knowledge and experience while working on her license. Mariam worked with the team as a technician for a few months in order to perfect her technical skills that she will now use in her day-to-day working as a Doctor. In her free time, Mariam likes to hike and camp, (the Canadian Rockies are her favourite place to be with her husband), as well as read and spend time with her 2 cats: Pumpkin and Panther.
Dr. Yacyshyn

Meet Dr. Orisha Yacyshyn, a dedicated veterinary professional with a decade of experience in emergency medicine. Since graduating from Guelph University in 2011, she has been committed to helping clients navigate the best courses of action for their beloved pets. Dr. Yacyshyn shares her home with two adorable pets: Millie, a talented pup who can perform an array of tricks for food, and Nora, who is still discovering the joy of cuddles. When she’s not in the clinic, you can find her enjoying ultimate frisbee, camping, hiking, or socializing with friends.

Dr. Mohamed Zaid is one of our dedicated overnight veterinarians who brings compassion and expertise to every patient he cares for. With a commitment to continual learning and staying up to date on the latest advancements in veterinary medicine, Dr. Zaid ensures that each furry friend receives the highest standard of care. Beyond the clinic, Dr. Zaid finds joy in the great outdoors, where he can often be found exploring nature and nurturing his deep love for animals.
